ChampionLocal Schools

The Champion Local School District was pleased to welcome State Representative Nick Santucci to our campus earlier this week! While here, Rep. Santucci toured our buildings, met with district administrators and teachers, and observed a first-grade classroom lesson to view the components of the Science of Reading. He took in art projects and science experiments and at the suggestion of one of our 5th grade students, even left with some honey harvested and produced by the CMS Science Club. This was Rep. Santucci’s first visit to Champion schools. We appreciate his interest in the district and the time he took to visit with us to learn about some of the great things that are happening here!
We look forward to working with him to secure grants and funding that will enhance our students' educational opportunities right here in Champion!
