School Nurse

School nurses play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and well-being of students at school. Beyond administering basic first aid and medical care, they serve as a crucial link between healthcare providers, parents, and school staff. School nurses monitor students with chronic health conditions, manage medication administration, and offer health education to promote healthy lifestyles. Their presence contributes to a safer learning environment by quickly addressing health emergencies, reducing the spread of contagious illnesses, and supporting students' overall physical and emotional development. Ultimately, school nurses play a vital role in fostering a conducive atmosphere for learning by addressing students' health needs and promoting a culture of wellness within the school community.

Please be sure to notify the school nurse if any information changes for your child during the school year. This includes contact information, medical condition changes, changes/additions/deletions in medication, etc. Up-to-date information is critical for us to have in case of an emergency.
