The Champion High School auditorium has been named the Pamela S. Hood Auditorium by board of education action taken during the board's July 29, 2019 meeting. Mrs. Hood has retired effective July 31 as Superintendent of Champion Schools after over 25 years of service to the district. Mrs. Hood has been a fervent patron of the arts during her tenure at Champion, and the board chose a fitting way to honor her.
